Been scoping out the Airsoft play here in jacksonville past few weeks. Do not currently have a gun so havent made my way out. Never really played consisently just here and there. Looking to build up a rifle here soon once i figure out money. Really interested in the new GBB was trying to find a 416. Anyone have any ideas? I'd like to make my way out to your field but worried with these GBB the ratings show they fire a little hot then what you guys allow. Anyone know if that can be lowered?

I have yet to see an actual H&K 416 airsoft version yet. most GBB rifles do shoot over our limit of 400 FPS.
There are some that shoot under, it is really difficult to get any airsoft gun to shoot lower FPS then how they factory especially Gas guns.
The only way that I have seen a GBB rifle be slowed down was to drill vent holes in the barrel. This must be done very precisely or you can screw up the entire gun.

Being that you are new to the sport I would not recommend a gas rifle as your first gun. All airsoft guns are temperamental however gas guns are quite a bit more finicky than electrics. Also, the amount of ammo you can carry for the price. The average Electric gun mag holds 120 rounds and is about 10 bucks where as a gas mag holds only 30 rounds and is about 45 bucks. Another thing with the gas Mags is that if you have a seal go bad, now your down a Mag and if you only had 1 mag your down to having a cool looking paper weight.

I would suggest an electric, Since you like the 416 any M-4 variant 150 bucks or more will be a pretty good gun, pick up some mid cap mags (mags that hold 100 to 130 rounds) a smart charger for charging batteries (don't use the crappy wall charger that comes with most guns, you will kill your battery) Seamless BB's, Do not use crappy walmart or dicks sporting goods BB's they will break in your gun.

I'm kinda new to here but where can i get a good charger for my batteries? I dont know where a good store for airsoft would be at. I also wanted to ask if i could play with you all? I have been looking for someone to play with and i love airsoft I use to be into paintball but i think airsoft is more realistic.

Please let me know where you all play at and how much it cost because im interested in playing and i dont wanna make it a one time deal. I also wanted to ask what are the rules you play by and do I have to use specific BB's?

We normally play every two weeks but due to outside commitments we have been kinda thrown off schedule. Keep an eye out on the Upcoming events Thread for the next home game.

One of our teammates, Airsoft Trucker sells Bios on game day. Drop him a line.

Echo 1 makes a 614 and i think they have a option to were you can get it with a shorter barrel wich makes it a 416 or they are releasing a 416 soon. i cant remember. and like darkside said. you probly dont want a gas rifle as a first.. or even a second. that and there's something to do with florida's weather that makes the performance not as good as it should be. theres lots of knowlege on this forum from darkside raymius. and all the other guys and gals..they wont ster you wrong and there really good people.

Hey Kavaleer, I do sell, .20's BIO's from Matrix, I also have regular Matrix bb's as well. Most of the bags have 5000 rounds which should last you a while. Just let me know what you need and I should be able to help you out.
